The puppies have been getting a lot of outside time with our warmer weather and it sure makes them tired. I got this photo of them snuggled up together after they were worn out from running around. They all love to play with toys, especially if you throw them a ball to fetch. The first puppy will be leaving us on Wednesday. Going to miss them all, but we know they are all going to great homes!
Getting harder to get photos of the puppies as they are very playful right now. Our youngest daughter got in some quick snuggles last night before bed. All of the pups were vaccinated on Wednesday and are growing very well. We are trying to give them as much outside play time as possible but the weather is not cooperating. They do enjoy running around in the shop and exploring when they can't get out. Hard to believe in about one more week they will be in their new homes.
Tried to get a shot of all the puppies this morning when we went out to give them their breakfast. It is a little blurry, but this is the usual scene when we turn on the lights every morning. They are so fun to play with and interact with and we are getting them outside now for lots of running around! We are also happy to know that all of the puppies have great homes to go to!
Sorry, I am one day late on putting this on, but the puppies are four weeks old now. They are loving the solid foods we started introducing last weekend and playing with each other a lot. I tried my best to get a good group shot tonight but they were more interested in wrestling instead :)
Chris got to meet with one of our families today so they could pick out their puppy. When the final choice was made, male puppy number 1 was selected to join Mark and his family in Minnesota. The little guy even got a new name today, Rudy. The number 3 male will be heading to Tennessee to join his new owner Jordan and the number 2 male will be staying here in Iowa to become Hideyo and Jewel's new buddy. We are thrilled that everyone got the male they wanted!
Started off this new week by meeting a great local family who will be taking in the last male of the litter. This has been such a wonderful experience for our family and we are enjoying every minute. Looking for one last forever home for the final female puppy :)
